Foreword vs. Preface vs. Introduction

• Foreword :: 
  This comes before all other content in the book. It isn’t written by the Author. Most Authors don’t need one.
  제일 첫 장. 저자가 쓰는 게 아님. 다른 사람이 쓰는 책 소개. 없어도 무방. 추천사 같은 느낌인 듯

 

• Preface :: 
  This comes after the foreword and before the introduction. It’s written by the Author. Most Authors don’t need one.
  서문. foreword 다음, intro 전. 저자가 쓴다. 굳이 안 써도됨.

 

• Introduction :: 
  This is the beginning of your book’s main text. It’s written by the Author. Every nonfiction Author should have one in their book.
  서론, 도입. 메인 텍스트의 시작. 저자가 쓰는 부분. 소설이 아니면 처음 이 부분은 있어야 함.
